Real Time PCR Detection Kit

The PCR reagent for infectious disease detection launched by Gangzhu Medical Institute adopts the advanced new diagnostic reagent form – PCR full freeze drying system. It includes reagents required for extraction and amplification. The extraction reagent adopts the rapid nucleic acid extraction technology based on magnetic bead method, which is simple and fast to ensure the accuracy of diagnostic results. The amplification reagent adopts vacuum freeze drying technology, including enzymes, primers, probes, dNTPs required for PCR reaction, various ions required for reaction, and the stability of dry PCR reagent for better storage and transportation.

A box of GZ Med’s PCR testing kits contains 8 tests, including reagents and sampling tubes.

  • Individually packaged Single test reagents: Simplify the operation steps and reduce the risk of contamination during the experiment.
  • Lyophilization Amplification Reagents: The freeze-drying process can effectively reduce the influence of temperature changes on the performance of reagents, improve the stability of reagents, and facilitate the storage of reagents at room temperature.
  • Nucleic acid extraction is fast and convenient: The extraction reagents are pre-packaged to simplify the tedious steps of the experiment.
  • Product diversification: Rich product items, single test items, double test items, and multiple test items can be selected and combined flexibly.
  • Zero-threshold operation: 10 minutes to complete professional-level experiments.

FAQ

The reagents are divided into three parts: sampling kit (sampling swab + preservation solution), nucleic acid extraction reagents, and PCR amplification reagents.

The kit is valid for 18 months with storage at 4-30℃.

Please use it within the validity period.

Notice: Before using any reagents, check for leaks or defects, and ensure that lyophilized powder reagents remain in a white, lump-like state. If sample dilution is required, sterile water or sterile saline solution can be used for dilution. If sampling swabs are missing or unsuitable, they can be replaced with other sterile disposable cotton swabs.

For general sampling recommendations, please refer to the PCR nucleic acid testing sampling instructions. Different testing projects should follow the recommended sample collection requirements.

Ocular-nasal-pharyngeal swab, feces/anal swab: Collect an adequate amount of swab sample, break the swab head into the preservation solution, shake it thoroughly, and set aside. After rinsing the swab, if the volume in the tube is insufficient, sterile water or sterile saline solution must be added for dilution. If the sample is too concentrated or excessive, it must be adequately diluted before use.

EDTA anticoagulant: Take 200uL whole blood, add it to the sample preservation solution, shake thoroughly, and set aside.

Pleural/ascitic fluid: Take 200uL, add it to the sample preservation solution, shake thoroughly, and set aside.

(Note: All residual samples should be sealed after ensuring unquestionable results.)

It is recommended that nucleic acid extraction and detection should be performed immediately after sample collection. If storage needed, samples can be stored at 4°C up to 24 hours or at -20°C up to 3 months. Samples  can be transported in sealed bubble wrap on ice or dry ice.

Extracted nucleic acids should be tested immediately. If there is a need to delay the testing, it can be refrigerated at 4℃ and must be tested within 2 hours. If testing is postponed to the next day, it must be stored at -20℃.

It is advisable to maintain the instrument’s operating environment in a cool, spacious, clean, and dry place, with a recommended operating temperature at room temperature (20-30℃). Regarding reagent usage, please note that nucleic acid extraction reagents should be used for nucleic acid extraction at room temperature (20-30℃).

During normal operation, it is not allowed to add test samples midway (unless the instrument has just started and is still in the initialization stage, allowing an immediate stop with the reagents still usable). If the instrument is powered off, unless it happens at the beginning of the instrument’s operation when the program is still in the initialization stage, the reagents are still usable; otherwise, new reagents must be dissolved to rerun the test.
